Westfield Mission – What we believe…

(Statement of faith)

We believe in God our Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit as the one true God, 3 in 1

We believe in the Virgin Birth, that Jesus walked on the earth, bringing healing wherever he went

We believe Jesus died as the atoning sacrifice on the Cross, dying in our place paying the full price for our sin (wrong doing), reconciling us with God and rose again on the third day to give all who believe in him, eternal life through his blood shed on the cross

We believe in the Resurrection, that we will rise again when Jesus comes again to gather his people

We believe in life eternal in heaven as fulfilment of belief in a living God

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God

We believe everyone is created in the image of God and can have a personal relationship with Jesus through salvation, in giving their heart to the Lord

We believe the bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to each person’s problems

We believe in the Holy Spirit which is a gift from God that helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God’s will

We believe in the Name of Jesus
